You can also find the compendium of delicious recipes curated by the former Hartlepool Food Network, the majority of which have a brilliant accompanying video.

Our Weekly Recipe in Hartlepool Life

The Food Partnership now has a weekly recipe on the ‘Life in the Kitchen’ page of Hartlepool Life; find the latest edition HERE – please let us know if you’ve tried any of these!

We work with the amazing Hartlepool-based cook Booteracooks for this: please check out his social media pages for an amazing compendium of recipes and accompanying videos.

Scran: a young person’s guide to easy cooking’

Youth Voice Hartlepool are aware of many Hartlepool people, including the young, being directly affected by the cost of living. As a result, they have produced this brilliant book of quick, easy and healthy recipes. Written by young people but hoping to inspire everyone. You can find it HERE.

Three days of recipes from a Food Bank bag (COMING SOON)

Many people at some stage need to visit a Food Bank where you are provided with three days of food.  Trussell runs many of these including Hartlepool’s Food Bank and has created three days of recipes using the contents of their usual food bag. Working in partnership with LilyAnne’s Wellbeing Café we have made recipe videos for these, which can be found HERE.

Links for Amazing Children Cookery Shows

Cbeebies has two amazing cookery shows for children which we heartily recommend to help them learn and appreciate food even more, and hopefully also try out the recipes with their grown ups. These are Big Cook Little Cook and My World Kitchen.
